PixAI does not ban adult anime outright: its Terms ask users to label sexually explicit or lewd content through an nsfw tag system, and they describe the service as image generation and posting together. So the reason to look elsewhere is rarely the rule itself. Vellria, an uncensored generator for stills and clips, offers anime models configured on our side, video to every account instead of as a membership perk, a REST API that needs no application, and no posting side at all. It is not affiliated with PixAI, which is mentioned only so readers know what is being weighed.

PixAI NSFW: what its Terms actually say

PixAI's Terms of Service, opened on 25 October 2026, were last updated on 7 July 2025. They require users to be 18 or older and describe PixAI as an image generation and posting service. On adult material the key line is a duty, not a ban: users must properly use the nsfw tag system to label any content that is graphic, sexually explicit, lewd or indecent, so that other users have predictable experiences.

That makes PixAI a different case from services that forbid adult work entirely, and this page does not pretend otherwise. We did not test how its filters treat a given prompt, and PixAI keeps separate rules on certain kinds of content that we have not summarised here; check pixai.art before relying on any detail.

Why people leave PixAI anyway

If the rules are not the problem, the reasons tend to be structural. PixAI is built around posting: tags exist so that what you share sits in the right part of a public site. Vellria has no public site of that kind. There is no feed, no profile, no follower count and no tag to choose, so nothing you render is published anywhere by us, and a private sketch never needs a label.

The second reason is reach. PixAI's membership page lists image-to-video and text-to-video among the features reserved for members, and its Terms say API access is something to email the company about. On Vellria both are part of every account, paid from the same credit balance as a still image.

Where PixAI is the better place

For anime work that lives on LoRAs, PixAI is hard to beat. Members can stack up to 15 LoRAs in one generation, the platform hosts model files that creators upload, and its community trades styles and characters in a way a fixed catalog cannot. PixAI Reference Pro, as its membership page describes it, edits an image through chat, changing an outfit or a pose, or building a comic from plain language.

Its Terms also say leftover credits carry forward after a subscription ends. Vellria hosts no LoRAs, accepts no uploaded checkpoints and has no community to share in. If your style depends on a particular LoRA mix, staying on PixAI is the sensible call; this page compares structure and rules, not the look of the output.

Anime models on this side

Two models carry most anime work here. Anime Pro Spicy runs on Seedream 5.0 Pro with an anime style applied server-side: you describe the scene in ordinary language and it answers with a large, finished illustration, and it can redraw a photograph in anime style while the person stays recognisable. It costs more per run and takes around a minute. Anima is cheaper and tag-driven, an open-weight release from CircleStone Labs that PixAI regulars will find easy to prompt, which makes it the drafting tool.

A sensible routine is to rough out a character on Anima with tags you already know from PixAI, then move the keeper to Anime Pro Spicy for the finished frame. Every video model here accepts one picture as its first frame, so an illustration made on Anima or Anime Pro Spicy can be set in motion with a short prompt about what moves. For adult motion, Wan 3.0 Spicy takes an illustration as frame one, or a written scene, and can generate audio alongside; Seedance 2.5 costs more per second and moved most smoothly in our trials.

An API you do not have to ask for

PixAI's Terms point anyone interested in API access to an email address. Vellria's API needs no request: open the console, create a key, and your code can start sending jobs with it in the Authorization header. Each submission comes back with an id you check until the result is ready, and pictures you want to reference are uploaded first so the job can point at them. PixAI's Terms state that purchases are final and non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. Frequently asked questions

Does PixAI allow NSFW?

Is Vellria more permissive than PixAI?

That is not the claim here. Both services allow some adult content under their own terms. The differences this page describes are structural: no posting or feed on Vellria, video on every account, an API without a request, and anime models built differently from PixAI's LoRA-based setup.

Can I use my PixAI LoRAs on Vellria?

No. LoRAs and uploaded checkpoints cannot be loaded here. Anima reads Danbooru-style tags and Anime Pro Spicy holds an anime look without them, but neither reproduces a specific LoRA.

Is video on PixAI a member feature?

PixAI's membership page, updated 1 September 2026, lists image-to-video and text-to-video under its member features, alongside Turbo Mode, extra LoRA slots and Reference Pro. On Vellria every video model is open to any account and is paid per clip from the same credits as images, with no membership required.

Does PixAI have an API?
