Wan 2.2 Spicy is an image-to-video model built on Wan 2.2, the open-weight release from Alibaba's Tongyi Wan team. Every run starts from a picture you upload, which becomes the first frame, and the prompt describes the motion. It is listed separately from Wan 2.2, which also takes written prompts, and it has its own prices.
The settings are deliberately few: five or eight seconds, 480p or 720p, and no audio switch. The price per second is the lowest in the Spicy video line, which makes it the place to test many versions of a motion idea on the same still: a turn of the head, a slow walk toward the camera, a camera move around a couple.
With so little time on screen, write one action and one camera move. The still has already settled the person, the outfit and the room, so describe only what moves and how; a single sentence with a verb, a speed and a camera direction is a complete prompt. Crop the still to the frame you want before uploading.
