Hailuo AI's homepage, read on 12 September 2026, announces MiniMax H3 as live, and MiniMax's own H3 post points readers to Hailuo for a hands-on try. MiniMax's blog announced H3 as a general-purpose multimodal generation model, and a later MiniMax news post announced that it was open-sourcing H3, describing it as a general-purpose, omni-modal generative system. Read on 10 September 2026, that is MiniMax describing its own release rather than a third party characterising it. H3 Max is a different case: MiniMax's developer documentation, read on 12 September 2026, lists it beside H3 but describes it as released jointly by MiniMax and fal.ai, and post-trained by fal.ai on top of H3.
Vellria lists both H3 and H3 Max as video models, each able to invent a scene or animate a still you already have. What happens to the prompt
On Vellria, the words you submit are the words the model receives. No rewriting pass tones them down on the way, and for video that matters more than for stills: a clip's prompt carries motion, pacing and camera behaviour along with the subject, and a moderation pass that flattens the subject tends to flatten the verbs around it too.
Hailuo's Terms of Service, last modified on 19 August 2026 and read on 12 September 2026, set content standards of their own, and how they apply to a given prompt is a question for that document rather than for this page. A balance instead of a plan
Hailuo's site advertises access from a monthly price, read on 10 September 2026. That is a subscription shape: something renews, and the month you do not use it is still a month you bought.
Vellria sells credits, with a plan as an option rather than the default. The same pay-as-you-go balance pays for a still or a clip on any model, and it changes only when a job starts; with nothing required on a renewal cycle, the weeks between two projects cost nothing if you skip the optional monthly plans, which in video work is the ordinary rhythm rather than the exception.
A failed run is where the two agree: Hailuo's payment policy, read on 12 September 2026, says credits used by a failed generation are refunded automatically. Here a job is charged as it starts; if the provider fails it, the charge is reversed the moment the job is logged as failed, with no request.
