A Tensor.Art NSFW alternative now that TensorArt calls itself a fully SFW platform

Many people know Tensor.Art for its library of community checkpoints and LoRAs. Its stance on adult work is now in writing: TensorArt's own content policy, last updated on 9 December 2025, says it is evolving into a fully SFW platform and that explicit sexual acts and nudity are not permitted for public visibility or for generation, prompts included. Vellria is a hosted generator for uncensored images and video rather than a model-sharing community, and its terms allow explicit scenes between fictional adults. It has no affiliation with Tensor.Art, which is named here solely to make the comparison.

Tensor.Art NSFW: the December 2025 content policy

The rule sits in a post titled TensorArt Content Policy, published on tensor.art by the TensorArt account and showing an update on 9 December 2025; we read it on 25 October 2026. It opens by saying the platform is evolving into a fully SFW one. Its first restricted category covers content depicting explicit sexual acts or nudity, which is not permitted for public visibility and generation, and it names images, models and posts with explicit sexual themes as well as prompts and generations that produce NSFW output.

The same policy prohibits models and images of real celebrities across the site and says some corporate properties may get reduced visibility. We could not open a formal Terms of Service at tensor.art/terms on the day we checked, since that address showed the model feed, so this page relies on the policy post alone; check tensor.art before treating any of it as final.

Is there still a way to make NSFW on Tensor.Art?

Many visitors arrive with exactly that question, often after a favourite model was hidden. The policy as written covers generation, not only public posting, so a private workflow is not described as an exception. We do not test or explain ways around TensorArt's moderation, and this page describes none.

On Vellria the answer for invented characters is simply yes, because the terms allow it. A prompt reaches the model as you wrote it, with no step of ours rewording it into something tamer, while every provider keeps its own filter, a point the uncensored AI image generator page covers in detail.

What Tensor.Art still does better

Tensor.Art is a model-hosting community first. Its homepage is a stream of checkpoints and LoRAs uploaded by creators, built on bases such as Krea 2, Illustrious, Anima and Z-Image-Turbo, with style tags from manga and chibi to photography, plus tools like Anime Lab and an original-character creator. For safe-for-work work that depends on a particular community LoRA, nothing in a fixed catalog replaces it.

Vellria accepts no uploads of models, trains nothing and has no gallery of other people's work. If what you value is discovering and stacking community styles, and your projects fit an SFW policy, staying on Tensor.Art makes sense. This page compares written rules and structure, not image quality.

Familiar bases, hosted here

Two bases you may know from Tensor.Art run on Vellria as plain catalog models. Anima, the anime base behind some Anima checkpoints you may have seen on Tensor.Art, takes tag-style prompts, while Z-Image Spicy is Alibaba Tongyi's Z-Image set up for explicit pictures at a low price per run, with Z-Image Turbo beside it for fast drafts. They are the base models, not community fine-tunes, so a LoRA-dependent look will not reappear unchanged.

No feed, and one API

The policy's wording on public visibility matters less here because nothing is public. Vellria has no feed, profile pages or model cards for users; generations sit in your own library and are not published by us. If you were drawn to Tensor.Art for sharing, that is a real loss; if sharing was incidental, it is one less thing to manage.

TensorArt runs a separate developer service, TAMS, with documentation of its own, which we did not compare. On Vellria there is no separate developer product. The key you create in the console authenticates REST calls, each call hands back a job id to check on, and the Studio and your code draw on the same credits. No. Uploaded models are not supported, since the catalog is fixed. Some bases overlap, Anima and Z-Image among them, but those are the base models rather than community fine-tunes.

Is Vellria a community like Tensor.Art?

No. There are no public posts, profiles, likes or shared models. Vellria is a generator with a Studio in the browser and a REST API, and what you make is not published.

Why was a model hidden on Tensor.Art?

The TensorArt Content Policy updated 9 December 2025 gives several reasons: explicit sexual content and nudity are not permitted for visibility or generation, celebrity content is hidden immediately, and some corporate properties such as Nintendo and Disney titles may get reduced visibility. Only TensorArt can say why a particular model was hidden.

Does Tensor.Art have an API?

TensorArt operates TAMS, a model service with its own documentation site; we did not review its terms or features. Vellria's REST API is available to every account with a key from the console.
